Tip: Make sure you have at least 8N in your wallet before you start the process in Mintbase, as you will need 7N to create a store and a little bit more left so you can start minting.

You can login using either your Twitter account or your email:

  • Next connect your .near wallet to mintbase. *Note: You can connect more than one .near wallet to your mintbase account.
  • Deploy a Store. This store is where you will allocate your NFTs. You can create several stores if you want or need to.
  • After deploying the store set up your profile. Upload your profile image, Background Image, and include links to your social media accounts and an email. Once you are done press the Save button.
  • Now go to “Create” Tab and then to “Settings” as shown in the image.

Upload an image for your Store Header. Set your store Name. Then, very important, in Add Minter enter the .near wallet you want to use to mint your NFTs.

Now in Default Royalties enter the .near wallet you want to use. This is where you will receive the royalties every time an NFT of your creation is sold. Also, you can set the Default Split Revenue here in case you need to.

*TIP: You must complete this step before you can mint your NFTs, otherwise you will get an error message when trying to mint.

  • Go to “Builder” now and then click on “Mint”. You can also go to “Create” tab and then click on “Mint”.

You will be prompted to the “Royalties” tab. If you are only going to mint an image you just have to upload your image and complete the information:

Once you have completed this information you can click the Mint Me button.

However, if you want to mint an NFT using an audio file, video file or model file you have to go to media tab as shown in the image below:

It will now appear a new option to upload audio, video or model files.

Here you can upload your file, but you will still need to upload an image file anyway in the section to the left:

Once you have uploaded both files then you can click on the Mint Me button.

Note in the upper section that the platform also gives you other options like uploading PDF documents, adding a location and a website.

When you press the Mint Me button you will be asked to confirm the transaction in your .near wallet. You just have to click allow and there you have it! You have minted your first NFT using Mintbase!

But you are not done yet. If you want to sell your NFTs you now have to set the price for them. You can either go to the “Create” tab or “Base” tab, and click on the bill button as shown in the image:

Then set the price in NEAR that you are going to charge for your NFT and press the Simple Sale Button. Then allow the transaction when it connects to your .near wallet and now your NFT will be listed in the marketplace with the price you just set. And that’s it!

Welcome to the Creator Economy!
